Push Forward Primary School found us the way most schools do — a Google search for a better way to use their outdoor space. They had a quiet corner of the school grounds doing nothing, a long list of things they wanted to give room to, and they wanted full peace of mind: an ever-changing outdoor space, looked after for them, with no capital project — no procurement marathon, no “let’s revisit it next academic year.”

Eight working days later, their children stepped into a finished Nordic tipi classroom.

That timeline is not a sprint we put on for show — it is what the managed model is designed to do. We measured the site, handled every part of the installation, and walked the school through the safety and compliance framework that comes built into every agreement. The school took on none of the operational load. They simply gained the space — and the children who use it gained the outdoors.

One classroom, holding all of it

The space won’t sit still. Push Forward use their outdoor classroom for the things that are hardest to give room to indoors: one-to-one sessions, a sensory zone, a calm space for the children who need one, group reading, and art. One space, doing the work of many — and because the agreement is fully managed, we keep it inspection-ready, weather-managed and seasonally maintained while the school just teaches in it.

What eight working days actually proves

Outdoor learning has never been short of evidence — it has been short of a way to make it happen quickly, without piling more onto an already-stretched team. A traditional outdoor classroom build means capital budgets, contractors on site for weeks, and a structure the school then owns, maintains and insures alone.
